Cracow self-catering accommodation

cracow self catering

When Polish people go on holiday, the majority stay in hotels or when self-catering, simply rent rooms with a bathrooms in private houses.

The self catering market is not anywhere as developed as it is in other European countries. There are houses to rent, and a greater number of apartments but most house rentals will be for outside the city of Cracow. There are plenty of apartments to rent in Cracow which might suit couples and smaller families.

if you plan to spend maybe a couple of days visiting Cracow, there is a reasonable choice of house rentals south of Cracow.

These houses to rent will include log cabins.

Self catering holidays are good for extended stays of about a week or two. The houses have laundry and cooking facilities which suits some people. It is always useful to be able to wash and dry clothes when staying in Poland for a reasonable length of time.

People with dietary difficulties may also appreciate being able to cook their own food at home.

The other nice aspect of a self catering holiday in Poland is having somewhere to relax, a balcony or garden if you feel like staying home for a few hours. There should also be a television and perhaps CD player for music.

People who come to Poland for a ski holiday tend to stay for a minimum of a week and self-catering accommodation is ideal in that situation. Remember to visit the Cracow Christmas Market if you arrive in December.
